Juventus striker Amauri claims he would be open to the idea of rejoining Napoli in order to find regular football.
The Brazilian-born Italian striker spent the latter part of the season on loan at Parma after failing to cement a first team place at Juve.
His future with the Turin outfit remains in serious doubt and Amauri appears keen on a summer exit to Napoli - a club he spent half a season with in 2001.
"I have always liked that club, it was there I took my first steps in Serie A," Amauri told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Now things have changed significantly, there is a great project there.
"A partnership with Cavani and Lavezzi? It would not be bad at all."
Amauri also used interview as an opportunity to hit out at his treatment by Juve.
"I made ??the right choice to leave Juve, I proved that all that was happening was not only my fault," he said.
"I would like to start the next season as I finished the last one."
Amauri signed for Juve in 2008 and is currently fighting to be included in Italy's squad for next year's Euro 2012 tournament.
